Last month, the Missouri Department of Conservation saw an increase in turkey harvesting.
Statewide News Services Coordinator for the MDC, Joe Jerek, says hunters checked 2,127 wild turkeys in October and even though firearms turkey season is over, hunters can still continue archery hunting.
Fall archery turkey hunting continues through this Friday and resumes November 25th through January 15th, 2021.
